Juggling.

{via}

Hopefully I'm not the only one....who feels like this photo is a pretty accurate description of themselves on a day to day basis :)

Trying to find a balance between work, home-life...cleaning, cooking, laundry, being a good wife, daughter, sister, and friend, exercise, hobbies...reading, blogging, and SLEEP!

And this is me, who only works 3 night shifts a week. Granted, it's more like I work 4 due to the amount of daytime hours I spend sleeping, but I know some of you add school and babies on top of all this, some of you work two jobs...how do you do it?

For now, I'm off to the gym, grocery store, Target for some necessities, post office, back to shower and clean up the house, cook dinner, eat dinner, and hopefully spend the rest of the night on the couch with my husband and Lilly, catching up on blogs and TV...because it's my day off.

In all honesty, I like to be busy, and I really don't think I would want it any other way. It's just those days where I drop one of the many balls I'm juggling...and something gets neglected or pushed aside, that really make me wonder. How do you juggle? Wouldn't it be awesome to have a couple extra hours in the day?

Hope you're having a good Monday, friends!

This is exactly what I was going through last week! Life gets super stressful sometimes and relaxing this past weekend is what helped me take a breather and realize I just needed to pace myself. Hope you have a wonderful day off girl! :)

Definitely right there with you...I swear, I haven't seen the bottom of my laundry hamper since I moved in a year ago. Not kidding. It's terrible.

So with you on that one!

I totally agree with you! I feel like my to do list is never ending and I never feel completely caught up. I also work only 3 shifts a week and still can't seem to get everything done on my days off. In our defense, I am a firm believer that nurses require recovery days after particularly busy shifts ;)

I completely agree that even though I like being busy with all sorts of things, there are days when I feel like that picture...

Hope you get everything done today and have the time to relax a little :)

I'm right there with you! I've noticed that when I'm busier I seem to get more accomplished, crazy, but true. When things are slower, I seem to slack a little bit. Busy is good, except when something falls through the cracks. Babies make it even busier and you'll think back and wonder 'how could I think I was busy before kids'. . . somehow everything just gets done, but with lots of work!!

Life is one big juggling show. 24 hours a day.
I feel like once I cross one thing off my to-do list, I add 15 others. Sigh.
The funny thing is when I DO have a day off and don't have 48 things to do, I get so BORED!

I'm so with you. I always feel like I am juggling a million things. And unfortunately, blogging is the first to suffer for me. I always feel guilty about it though!

Hang in there, hope you have a great week!

lately, i feel like i have no time to complete all the things i want to do ... it was actually getting me down ... i have finally come to the conclusion that if i can't do it today ... there's always tomorrow. let's see how long that last for me!

Not enough hours in the day... and I'm procrastinating on Blogger. Love the pic you choose for this post!

Yep - I can totally relate! I have a feeling though that even if there were a couple more hours in the day, we would find a way to fill them too! :)

I definitely know how you feel! When I worked full time, we had to work 4 12 hour shifts a week. I could not manage it, seriously. I did that for 2.5 years and once we got married, I just couldn't do it anymore. Now, I'm working relief/per diem and I do 3 12's a week and it is much better, but still tough. I would love some more hours!

I relate to this post, and I'm not even technically working at ALL right now. I think it's just proof of the ability for human beings to adapt and change and "roll with the punches" of life, so to speak. You do what you have to do, ya know? I used to work 5 days a week, go to school full time, and still have a little free time. And now I feel like I just can't get my s*it together, and I am NOT THAT BUSY!! Ughh.

Rant over. Happy Valentine's Day my pretty friend!
