20 weeks!

20 weeks, we're half way there!
It's so hard to believe that five months from now, we'll have a little baby girl!

This week, the belly is really starting to "pop" out.
I had someone ask me if I was pregnant for the first time, which I was really excited about.
It was one of my patients at work and I was wearing a tighter fitting long sleeve tee...
Guess I'll have to do that more often!

Our little girl is about the length of a banana
and weighs 10 1/2 ounces.
I'm still waiting for those kicks, but I know they're not far away.
On the ultrasound last week, she was moving all around!

I've been feeling great.
Lots more energy than a few weeks ago {when I'm not working night shift, of course.}
I finally bit the bullet and bought a couple bras in the right size & I feel like a new woman.
Some maternity clothes are next on my list.
I plan on making a trip to A Pea in the Pod tomorrow for some jeans...
My clothes, other than dresses like the one I'm wearing today, are getting uncomfortable.
Surprisingly, there is some cute and stylish stuff out there, so I'll keep you posted on my finds.

Shopping for a little girl is SO much fun, albeit a bit dangerous.
There is just too much cuteness out there!
Etsy and Zulily are currently in my danger zone :)

You look great!

Random hint: Gap has awesome maternity jeans and pants (if you don't want to spend a fortune, which I didn't). I had 2 pairs of jeans, one with an elastic waist and one that buttoned, and 3 pairs of black pants and I lived in all. If you don't a Gap Maternit y where you are, you can return by mail for free if you indicate that on your slip.

You look great! Etsy and Zulily are SO dangerous. I have such a hard time resisting the adorable little girl clothes. Baby Gap is another weakness.

This might not hold true for everyone but, I bought a pair of maternity jeans at about 17 weeks and by about 30 weeks they didn't fit anymore. They didn't have the full panel and became incredibly uncomfortable. Just something to consider before you buy an expensive pair of maternity jeans. However, I knwo some people can still button their regular "fat day" jeans at 8 months so everyone is different! :)

Okay, on second thought they probably stopped fitting at like 25 weeks. :) I ate too much ice cream.
