Etsy Finds: Baby Edition

Another edition of Etsy love.
That website is just a fabulous world of handmade goodness.
And really, for a mama to be, it can be a blessing and a curse all at the same time.
It seems like every day I'm finding new shops and things I love
From nursery decor to monogrammed clothes to little bitty accessories.

These are just a few things I've picked up for the baby girl along the way.

This sweet little gown and matching hat from seller Sugar Ridge Babies.
Monthly onsie stickers from seller Purple Possom
This little bunting flag from seller Love From Beth you will soon see hanging in her nursery
I'm kinda in love with these fabric wall decals from seller Love Mae Store
There are lots of really cute headbands in the world of etsy,
and this one is one of my favorites from seller Sweet Violet Kisses
I've always loved the prints from The Wheatfield shop
and this is the one we chose from the babe's room

Movin' on up

A few weeks ago, I got this pretty little card in the mail.

This is a VIP invitation from none other than Anthropologie, inviting me to the grand opening of their first ever store in Rhode Island.

A sneak peak at the store and refreshments Anthro style? Sign me up!

I've kinda been looking forward to it ever since, and tonight is the night. {The actual grand opening is tomorrow} So, I have a little date with Miss AV from {long distance loving}, because obviously she was invited too, for a cocktail and a night of all things Anthropologie. Can't wait!

Our little state is movin' up in the world.

weekend highlights.

Sunday night dinner.
The way to a man's heart is through his belly, obviously.

Baked Artichokes. Angel hair with shrimp, garlic, lemon, butter & olive oil. White wine.
Not pictured: Chocolate covered strawberries...they were devoured before I could get a photo!

Can you even tell what this is? This is my TV room/den with it's grasscloth wallpaper that now covers the walls in half the room. The rest of the wallpaper should go up this weekend, and that room will be done! I can't wait to show you when it's complete! I think it will be my new favorite room. And the only room {besides the basement} with a couch! Hooray.

I stumbled upon a neat little store in downtown Providence called Craftland. This place is awesome...it's basically like Etsy, in a store.
Everything is handmade. I can't wait to go back.
These were my two purchases: Letterpress note cards & a pretty pillow cover.

My new favorite book. All about inspired and unique locally owned eating and shopping establishments in Newport & Providece, Rhode Island. Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Burlington, Vermont & Portland, Maine. Hubs and I love to discover new restaurants and shops, and if they are locally owned, even better. We can't wait to try out some new places this book mentions!

Hope you all had a great weekend! I was going to include a photo of my backyard because you could actually see the grass, and Lilly was loving it. However, now it's snowing and everything is covered again. Mother nature is laughing at me & that little taste of spring we had last week was such a tease!

simple pleasures

I recently stumbled across the coolest little shop.

I love to find unique, one of a kind gifts for people and this store is really perfect for that. They carry a little bit of everything. "Home decor, clothing, accessories, decorations & delights" is their motto.

I asked the owner if she wouldn't mind if a took a few photos, to share with you of course! The place is pretty small, and jam packed with stuff, and was sorta crowded with people, not to mention these photos were taken with my phone. They really don't do it justice, but I wanted to try to capture this magical little find. If you ever happen to be in Providence, you must check it out.

I made a few fun purchases that I can't wait to give!

currently loving: plaid.

Remember how I said I loved online shopping? Yes? Well, it is dangerous. Especially when you're on a strict no-spending-money-on-yourself need-to-buy-furniture-for-new-house-will-have-mortgage diet. Anyway, some cute things I came across...didn't buy though, honey.

A re-discovered love for plaid. It's so timeless and perfect for winter. I might seriously need to make an exception to my spending diet for that dress. Love it.
