iron & wine

A couple months ago, for Valentine's Day,
I got the hubby and myself some concert tickets.

Well, yesterday was the day.
And we took a little ride...about an hour north
to the House of Blues in Boston.
I attempted to take this exact picture, but it was rainy...and foggy...and was not meant to be.
thank you google.

We started out at a little bar down the street
to celebrate a date night {even though it was a Tuesday!}
with some beers and apps.

Then we headed to the House of Blues
to see these guys in a sold out show.
Iron & Wine. Boston, MA. 4.19.11
I have to say, the show was pretty awesome.
I love Samuel Beam and his beautiful, folky voice.
There is just something about live music.
It's good for the soul, I think.
Hubs and I were on cloud 9.

This was one of my favorites from the night, off the new album.

Do you have a favorite band to see live?
What's been your most favorite concert?
Please share!

Oh, I love seeing bands live! I don't know Iron and Wine, but I might need to check them out.

My husband and I *love* Incubus, and have seen them twice now. They are coming out with another album soon, and we're really excited to see them again!

Happy Wednesday my dear!

xoxoxo,
Joelle

I'm ashamed to admit that I've never heard of Iron & Wine. I will definitely have to check them out. My absolute favorite, most fun concert was Garth Brooks' Nashville Relief concert. The energy in that arena was amazing! (And to be honest, I wasn't sure I would enjoy it. Who knew!)

I bought tickets for my bf and I to see U2 when they were in South Africa in Feb... it was such a great performance!
