Working Weekend

There are definitely pluses and minuses to being a nurse. Some pluses: working 3 nights, 36 hours a week...and being considered full time, the pay is pretty good, and you really do get to help people through some of the hardest times in their lives. 

Then, the minuses: working holidays and weekends, working at night when all normal people are sleeping, and dealing with all the bodily fluids (although I really don't mind this part all that much, I think it has prepared me well for motherhood!)

Most of the time, I'd say the good outweighs the bad. I'll be working the next 2 nights. Sunday will be a family day, celebrating my sister in law's birthday!
