Happy Birthday

Sorry if I confused you guys with my last post. 

Today is Florence Nightingale's birthday,

and my birthday as well.

 It's just a week of celebrations around here!

I'm looking forward to lunch with my hubby,

a family birthday dinner tomorrow,

and a long weekend off work!

I have a feeling that my 28th year may be the best yet. 

It's already off to a great start :)

Yep, in a couple weeks, I will be another year older.
Only 2 years away from 30.
It seems crazy...I still feel like a kid.
But things keep happening all around me
that are sorta making me feel like an adult.
Buying this house for example :)

I have a minor addiction to home design books.

Some new everyday stud earrings. gold or silver.
I have these from Kendra Scott in navy and love them.

I have this same watch in silver and LOVE it!
This one would be perfect to wear with gold accessories.

Well, this post is a day late, but I figure it's ok because today is the first full day of his 29th year.

Fancy Friday: Weekend Celebration

March is a big month for birthdays in our family.
Next week my niece turns 11.
Then my nephew turns 3
& hubby turns 29.
And in between, two of my best friends celebrate their special days, on St. Patty's Day.
How fun is that?

So tomorrow, we're having one big party!
I wanted to link up for Friday's Fancies again {because I missed doing it last week!}
and share what I would love to wear for our family birthday celebration.

I centered this outfit around the floral scarf, which I actually own and love.
I just wish I had the rest of these pieces to put the whole ensemble together!
I'm on the hunt for a versatile blazer and this blush pink one would fit the bill.
It could be paired with black or navy or even another bright color.
And who wouldn't love some Tory Burch flats?
